A. Links with other award-making organisations

The 1851 Royal Commission has close links with other charitable bodies and learned societies which grant awards for research and development in science, technology and industry. This is both to ensure the benchmarking of our awards and also to give mutual support in this crucial area of supporting the country's science and engineering base.
